Ovi provides some internet services to pamper Nokia phones’ user. One of its services is the Ovi mail. The interface is really great on PC, but unfortunately, there’s no filter menu as the one implemented on Yahoo! and Live. But it isn’t the main topic right now to discuss, this time I want to tell you that not only can be accessed from PC, Ovi Mail can be accessed from your Nokia phone device, as for you, it is supported to be used on the Nokia 5230 (Nuron) as well.

It is easy to setup to use the service. First thing that you need to do is, of course, you need to have an Ovi account. For Nokia phones’ user, having this account is very important as all Ovi services will only use this one ID. After the registration is done, download the mobile client named as Ovi Mail Setup Wizard here. The app will be available in a form of widget, install the widget on your phone, and then follow the wizard you found there. The instruction is easy to follow, no need to make it detail.

After it’s all done, you can then find new menu showed-up on your phone’s Messaging menu which is labeled as Ovi Mail. Click the left soft-key menu (Options), and then select Connect to get connected with your email account online. All the e-mail headers will then be downloaded to your phone device empty without the content. To retrieve the content, simply click the header or select Retrieve e-mail menu to get additional options.

The strange thing is that there’s no option to delete those headers.  If you are afraid to spend your credit too much, you can set the option to limit the retrieval amount. You can set the value from the E-mail settings, available on Options menu.  But first you need to be offline to perform that action. Well, that’s all for today, now you know that you can bring the Ovi mail mobile, access it anywhere, anytime.
