You haven’t been seeing many theme reviews lately on this blog – that’s because, let’s face it, even though there are more than plenty themes available on the S60 5th edition platform, not many of them are good-looking.

After constant digging up on the Ovi Store constantly for new themes, we stuck upon a pair of good themes, one of which is the Orange Dark theme.

Coming from a lesser known developer called Basking Deer, this one puts items with a sharp orange accent on a carbon-fiber design background – a very wise and post-modern looking combination indeed. The icons are styled distinctively, with bold and funky accents and slants everywhere – it’s kind of a hit-or-miss deal – you will either love it, or absolutely hate it – count us on the former side, by the way. The T9 and QWERTY keyboards, the area where most themes fare badly, is in fact one of this theme’s stronger points.
