If I ask you, what was your favorite arcade racer game you’ve ever played, atleast 5 in 10 of you will answer, Burnout Paradise. Very few games matches this work of art, that brings you total unbarred speeding intoxication. You won’t mind the absence of a storyline, you won’t mind the cheekiness, you’ll just drive and keep crashing in to things and other cars.

How about putting Burnout right on your mobile phone? Yes, EA has a mobile version of their epic game too. The game is quite old, having released roughly a month before the Burnout Paradise, as a teaser to the game – but that’s exactly the reason why EA Games can now offer it for FREE on the Ovi Store.

Like the PC/console counterpart, this game too is about ramming into other cars – in fact, that’s almost all this is about, there are not much visual eye-candy or similar distractions. The game offers a simple top-down view (remember the good old Road Fighter on the NES?), but that doesn’t make it any less entertaining.

The controls are a bit shabby though – you have to keep hitting the tiny onscreen control keys you get on your display – which is not exactly a pleasure to do on a resistive touchscreen. Depending on your taste and inclination to race, you might find this an annoyance in the first couple of minutes to about two hours.

To wind up, the game is good at what it’s worth – maybe you won’t play it for more than a couple of hours. But so what, those two hours, simple, childish adrenaline rush is guaranteed!
